What inspired your novel Bleed?
Bleed came from a place I couldn’t ignore. It tells a raw, gritty story that reflects the neighborhoods, people, and choices that shaped me. It’s more than fiction. Instead, it serves as a mirror for survival, loyalty, and redemption. It is the first of many stories I plan to tell.
Do you write your own books?
Yes — I’ve written every book so far. However, I’m open to collaboration when the story calls for it. Writing, for me, is personal — it’s therapy, teaching, and storytelling all wrapped together.

What’s your best advice for someone trying to find their purpose?
Start.
Don’t wait for perfect. Don’t wait for permission. Start messy, start scared — START! Progress happens through motion, not hesitation. Along the way, you’ll learn, adjust, and build your process.
How is your approach different from other coaches or motivational brands?
I’ve been to the bottom — mentally, emotionally, and physically. Therefore, I know what it feels like to be stuck, lost, or tired of pretending to be okay. My message comes from real experience, not theory. I don’t preach perfection — instead, I teach growth, resilience, and authenticity.
I’m not here to be the guru. I’m here to be the guide.
How do you balance creativity, leadership, and firefighting?
By carefully planning my time and energy. Life throws curveballs — especially in my line of work — but structure helps. I look at life like an emergency scene, and in the service we call it “organized chaos.” Similarly, I treat creativity like training: schedule it, respect it, and protect it. Ultimately, systems keep chaos in check and maintain consistent progress.
